The Israeli army informs the family of the death of the hostage during the 7 October Hamas assault. The body was taken by terrorists to Gaza

This morning, the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) confirmed to the family of Shlomo Mansour that the man was killed during the 7 October 2023 attack. Mansour, who was in kibbutz Kissufim, was killed by Hamas terrorists, who subsequently took his body to Gaza, where he is still being held.

Mansour’s death was confirmed by health experts and members of the rabbinate, who verified the information through intelligence work by the IDF in recent months.

Currently, of the 76 people still held by Hamas in the Gaza Strip, 36 have been confirmed dead by the IDF.
