Attack in Tel Aviv: four people stabbed, attacker killed
American green card attacker injures four people before being neutralised
Four people were injured in a knife attack in Tel Aviv this evening. According to the Magen David Adom (MDA) ambulance service, the injured are two men aged 24 and 28, in serious condition, and two others aged 24 and 59, whose conditions are stable.
The attacker, identified as Abdelaziz Kaddi, 29, a Moroccan with a US green card, was shot dead on the spot. According to the authorities, the man had entered Israel on 18 January on a tourist visa. A document found on the body allowed his identity to be traced, although further verification is ongoing.
Israeli security forces are investigating the incident to determine whether there are any links to terrorist organisations and are tightening security measures in the city.
