Melania Trump ready to sue Hunter Biden for $1 billion

The First Lady denies ties to Jeffrey Epstein and announces legal action

Melania Trump has threatened to sue Hunter Biden for over $1 billion after the former president’s son claimed that it was Jeffrey Epstein — the financier convicted of sex abuse and child trafficking — who introduced her to her future husband. The First Lady’s lawyers have called Biden’s words “false, disparaging, defamatory and provocative”.

The origin of the controversy
Hunter Biden’s statements date back to an interview earlier this month, in which he criticised the past relationship between Donald Trump and Epstein. The US president has always maintained that he severed all ties with the financier in the early 2000s after a falling out.
