Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell ready to testify: ‘The Department of Justice wants to know what she knows’

The legal team of Epstein’s former partner confirms: ‘Negotiations are underway, she will testify truthfully.’ Pressure from the MAGA movement and support from Trump

For the first time since she was imprisoned, Ghislaine Maxwell could reveal everything she knows. Deputy Assistant Attorney General Todd Blanche announced that he wants to meet ‘in the coming days’ with the former partner and collaborator of paedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein to hear her version of events and who was involved in the abuse network that shocked the United States.

“I have contacted her lawyer. I intend to meet with her soon,‘ Blanche wrote on X, adding, ’No one is above the law and no lead is off limits.‘ Maxwell’s lawyer, David Oscar Markus, also confirmed the negotiations: ’Ghislaine will always testify truthfully. We are in negotiations with the government and are grateful to President Trump for his commitment to bringing the truth to light.”

Maxwell, 62, is serving a 20-year sentence for trafficking and soliciting minors on behalf of Epstein, who died by suicide in prison in 2019. After years of silence, the woman now seems willing to talk, as controversy reignites around Epstein’s so-called ‘client list.’ The Department of Justice has stated that it does not have it, sparking accusations from the MAGA (Make America Great Again) movement of a possible cover-up to protect influential figures.

The idea of Maxwell’s cooperation had already been raised in recent days by Alan Dershowitz, a renowned US lawyer and former legal counsel to both Epstein and Donald Trump: “She knows everything. She should be released or at least receive a reduced sentence in exchange for her revelations.”

US Attorney General Pam Bondi also echoed Blanche’s words, stating, ‘If Ghislaine Maxwell has information about anyone who committed crimes against the victims, the FBI will listen to her.’

The union between Trump supporters, the Department of Justice and the growing interest of the press thus brings one of the most obscure and controversial cases of recent decades back into the spotlight. Now the world is waiting to find out what Maxwell is willing to reveal — and who might end up being implicated.
