The US actor passed away in Hawaii from complications related to a stroke. The news was released by the press office

US actor Richard Chamberlain, famous for his iconic roles in ‘The Thorn Birds’ and ‘Dr Kildare’, has died at the age of 90. The news was reported by ‘Variety’, which cited press office Harlan Boll as the source. Chamberlain passed away on Saturday 29 March at 11.15pm Hawaii time in Waimanalo due to complications following a stroke.

‘Our beloved Richard is now with the angels,’ said Martin Rabbett, the producer and director with whom Chamberlain shared many years of his life. ‘He is free and soaring towards our loved ones who have gone before us. We were fortunate to know such an extraordinary and loving soul. Love never dies. And our love is under his wings, lifting him to his next great adventure.’
