IDF announces over 400 attacks on Iranian targets, hit Natanz and Isfahan. Tehran new military priority
Israel’s strategic focus officially shifts to Iran. The Israeli army (IDF) declared today that Gaza is now a secondary front in the ongoing conflict, while the centre of gravity of military operations has shifted to Tehran and its surroundings.
This was reported by the IDF, which announced that the Air Force has already carried out over 400 strikes against Iranian targets, focusing on strategic installations related to the nuclear programme. The sites hit include those in Natanz and Isfahan, where – according to reports – a uranium enrichment facility was destroyed. However, the Israeli military command specified that it had not hit the Fordow facility.
According to the military, the air operations opened a ‘safe route’ to Tehran, allowing Israeli fighter jets to operate in the Iranian sky with greater freedom. A change of scenery that confirms the change in the Netanyahu government’s military priorities.
