Israeli Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz have ordered the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) to prepare to protect the Druze town of Jaramana, located on the outskirts of Damascus, Syria. The town is under attack by Syrian regime forces.
Katz: “We will not allow harm to the Druze community.”
In an official statement, Minister Katz explained that Israel will not allow the Syrian regime to harm the Druze community in Jaramana. “If the regime strikes the Druze, we will respond,” Katz said, emphasizing Israel’s commitment to defending the Druze, both within the country and beyond its borders.
