Guerra Ucraina-Russia, in risposta agli appelli lanciati da Kiev – attraverso il vice primo ministro Mykhailo Fedorov -, Elon Musk ha ‘aperto’ il suo servizio Internet satellitare a banda larga Starlink. Su twitter l’imprenditore ha spiegato che “il servizio Starlink è ora attivo in Ucraina. Altri terminal sono in arrivo”. La richiesta nasce dai crescenti problemi di comunicazione via internet registrati nel Paese dopo l’invasione russa.

Starlink gestisce una costellazione di oltre 2.000 satelliti che garantisconol’accesso a Internet a livello globale indipendentemente dalle connessioni terrestri. Proprio nei giorni scorsi Starlink ha lanciato altri 50 satelliti e altri sono in via di dispiegamento.
