Bad Nauheim, 19 April – Two people were killed today in a shooting in the German town of Bad Nauheim, north of Frankfurt. This was reported by the local police, who confirmed the launch of a search operation to track down the perpetrator, who is currently on the run.

The shooting occurred in the vicinity of a three-storey building, but neither the details of the incident nor possible motives have been disclosed at the moment. According to a police spokesman, ‘as things stand, there is no danger to residents’ and it is assumed that only one person is responsible.

The police have launched an intensive manhunt in the area, while investigations continue to clarify the circumstances and the identity of the victims.
