Although it will be consulted, it will not participate directly in the negotiations, as revealed by Trump’s special envoy Keith Kellogg

Europe will be consulted, but will not play an active role at the table of peace talks on Ukraine, as revealed by Donald Trump’s special envoy Keith Kellogg. Responding to a question during the Munich conference, Kellogg said that he belongs to the ‘school of realism’ and that European participation in the talks ‘will not happen’.

Kellogg: ‘Europe must come up with ideas and increase spending’

Kellogg urged European leaders to focus more on concrete proposals and increased spending, rather than complaining about their exclusion. His words caused discontent in several European countries, already worried about their marginal role in future peace negotiations.
