US President Donald Trump has announced the launch of plans to build the new sixth-generation fighter jet, the F-47, which will be produced by Boeing. According to Trump’s statement in the Oval Office, the F-47 will be the world’s most advanced fighter jet, featuring unprecedented speed, manoeuvrability and stealth technology.
Trump emphasised that although the aircraft will be virtually invisible and equipped with the most lethal technologies, the goal is that it will never have to be used. However, he pointed out that ‘our enemies would not even know what they were hit by’ should the need arise.
