Susie Wiles diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer, Trump announces
The White House chief of staff has chosen to begin treatment immediately while remaining active in her duties, according to President Donald Trump
White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles has been diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer, President Donald Trump announced in a post on Truth Social.
Trump described Wiles as “an incredible chief of staff, a fantastic person, and one of the strongest people I know,” adding that she had chosen to begin treatment immediately. The president emphasized that Wiles will continue to spend nearly all her time at the White House during the treatment period, a decision he said makes him “very happy” as president.
“Susie, one of my closest and most important advisors, is tenacious and deeply committed to serving the American people,” Trump wrote. “She will soon be better than ever. Melania and I support her in every way and look forward to continuing our work with Susie on the many great initiatives benefiting our country.”
