The president: ‘Tough night for the Chiefs, but even more so for her’. Pop star criticised for supporting Democrats

Boos and boos for Taylor Swift during the Super Bowl, with Donald Trump not missing an opportunity to comment ironically on the incident. ‘The only one who had a harder night than the Kansas City Chiefs was Taylor Swift. She got booed out of the stadium. The Maga does not forgive!’ the US President wrote on Truth Social.

Swift, who followed the game from the stands of the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, appeared on the big screens during the final game won by the Philadelphia Eagles against the Kansas City Chiefs, a team in which her teammate Travis Kelce plays. The public reaction was immediate: a broadside of boos accompanied his image.

President Trump, who was present at the stadium, received an opposite reception, as shown by several videos bouncing around on social networks. The pop star, during the presidential election campaign, had openly come out in favour of the Democratic candidate Kamala Harris, a choice that influenced the fans’ reaction in MAGA sauce.
