Suspected attack against Iranian ship in the Arabian Sea: Iran on high alert
Indiscretions speak of a direct attack against an Iranian ship. The Iranian armed forces are on high alert and ready to defend national interests in the Middle East
Unofficially unconfirmed rumours report that an Iranian intelligence ship, sailing in the Arabian Sea towards the Strait of Bab al-Mandab, was reportedly hit and sunk. If these reports are confirmed, this could be a direct attack against Iran. The news was reported by Ynet.
Meanwhile, a large US spy drone that was near Iranian airspace fled the country after being spotted by Tehran Air Force F-14 fighters and Iranian reconnaissance drones. The Air Force confirmed the incident and stated that the Iranian armed forces are on high alert, ready to defend themselves and counterattack hard against enemy interests in the Middle East.
In response, the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Aerospace Force warned that any ‘provocation’ by outside forces would be decisively countered, announcing that Iran would annihilate any aircraft entering its airspace.
