Pope Francis: clinical stability confirmed today, participation in Mass and Spiritual Exercises

The Pontiff follows the spiritual exercises at Gemelli, remaining invisible

The clinical condition of Pope Francis, admitted to the Gemelli Hospital, continues to be stable. Confirming the situation, the Vatican Press Office stressed that the picture is positive and evolving, although it remains complex. As no new medical bulletin has been issued today, the ‘slight improvement’ already reported yesterday is confirmed.

The Pope attended Mass this morning and, in the afternoon, followed the Spiritual Exercises with the Curia, connecting via video from his room at the Gemelli. This mode allowed Bergoglio to participate in the exercises without being visible. The situation, while improving, remains under observation.
