Furious post on Truth Social. The president attacks the rocker: “Pushy, hateful asshole.” And on Taylor Swift: “Since I insulted her, she’s a nobody.”

Donald Trump is firing back at the entertainment industry. In a furious post on Truth Social, the U.S. president called Bruce Springsteen “a highly overrated imbecile,” “talentless,” and “an obnoxious intruder.” The rocker, who has always been critical of Republicans, came into Trump’s crosshairs for badmouthing him abroad: “I have never liked him or his music or his radical leftist policies,” the president wrote.

Trump recoiled, using even more despicable terms: “He’s just a jerk” (which in American slang is equivalent to ‘asshole’), “supported the corrupt Joe Biden, a mentally incompetent fool who almost destroyed our country. If I had not been elected, the United States would be gone.”

The president then launched a personal attack on the physical plane: “This dried-up rocker like a plum (his skin is all atrophied!) should keep his mouth shut until he returns to the country. Then we’ll all see how it works out for him!” using ominous tones.

Also in the crosshairs was Taylor Swift: “She hasn’t been hot since I said I hate her,” Trump wrote, recalling how the pop star was booed at the Super Bowl in February. “The only one who had a harder night than the Kansas City Chiefs was Taylor Swift. She got booed out of the stadium. The ‘Make America Great Again’ is unforgiving,” she had already written in an earlier post.

Relations between Trump and the singer have been strained since 2018, when Swift had endorsed Democrats. Now the tension has escalated.
