A new meeting, mediated by Oman, on the Iranian nuclear dossier is scheduled for Saturday 3 May in the Italian capital

The fourth round of indirect talks between the United States and Iran, mediated by Oman, to discuss Tehran’s nuclear programme should be held in Rome on Saturday. This was reported by informed sources.

The chosen venue, once again, will be the Omani embassy in Rome, where the second round of talks had already been held on 19 April. In the past few days, American sources had anticipated the possibility of organising the new meeting in Europe, opting for a more easily reachable venue than the previous locations.

Confirmation of the appointment in Rome also came from the Middle Eastern media and from Axios journalist Barak Ravid, who relaunched the news on X citing two US sources with knowledge of the dossier.
