Violent bombings hit Kherson and Donetsk
In the last 24 hours, Russian raids against Ukraine have left at least one person dead and nine wounded. The city of Kherson and five surrounding settlements were severely hit, causing eight injuries and one death, Governor Oleksandr Prokudin said. In Donetsk Oblast, another person was injured, according to Governor Vadym Filashkin.
Missiles and drones on the night of 9 December
During the night, Russia launched two Kh-59/69 missiles from the Black Sea, along with 37 Shahed drones and other devices. Ukrainian air defences shot down 18 drones over nine oblasts, but 19 managed to evade the defence systems.
