The French authorities, following security protocols, decided to evacuate the area and conduct thorough checks to avoid any risk to visitors and citizens.

False bomb scare

According to Bfmtv, the control operations ended around midday and confirmed that it was a false alarm. No explosive devices or other dangers were found, allowing the reopening of the monument.

Re-opening of the monument
