Mass mobilization against the president’s second term. Rallies planned in Washington, London and several Canadian and European cities

Massive mobilization today in the United States against Donald Trump, with demonstrations announced in all 50 US states and in the capital Washington DC. According to organizers, this could be the largest day of protest since the president began his second term in the White House.

The marches, promoted by various acronyms and civic movements, aim to challenge the Trump administration’s policies, particularly on immigration, civil rights and the environment. But the wave of dissent crosses American borders: in fact, solidarity demonstrations are also planned in Europe and Canada.

The BBC reports initiatives already announced in London, Toronto, Berlin, and Paris, where activist groups and citizens will join the chorus of protest, underscoring the global scope of the mobilization. In Washington, mass participation is expected, with political, cultural and entertainment figures in attendance.
