The Dutchman wins again, Leclerc second with Ferrari. The battle between the teams will be decided at the last race
Max Verstappen triumphed in the Qatar Grand Prix, the penultimate round of the Formula 1 World Championship, confirming his form after being crowned world champion in Las Vegas last week.
The Dutch driver finished the race in the lead, followed by Charles Leclerc, author of a convincing performance that brought Ferrari to second place. Also on the podium was Oscar Piastri, third in the McLaren.
Carlos Sainz, at the wheel of the other Ferrari, had to be content with sixth place, still picking up valuable points for the Constructors’ Championship.
The Constructors’ Championship is decided in Abu Dhabi
The constructors’ title remains open and will be decided at the last race of the season, scheduled for Abu Dhabi. At the moment, McLaren maintains a slight advantage over Ferrari, but the gap is such that it will remain in suspense until the last grand prix.
