The rise of Tesla shares and the increase in SpaceX’s value push Musk over $440 billion, cementing his position as the world’s richest man

Elon Musk, already considered the richest man in the world, has seen his wealth surpass $440 billion. According to Bloomberg, the increase is due to a number of factors, including the rise in Tesla shares, which have risen 65% since Donald Trump’s election in early November. This significant increase has had a direct impact on the fortunes of Musk, who owns a considerable share in the carmaker.

In parallel, his space company SpaceX has also contributed to this increase. A deal between SpaceX and its investors resulted in the purchase of shares worth a total of $1.25 billion, pushing the company’s valuation to around $350 billion. This deal further increased Musk’s wealth by about $50 billion, cementing his position at the top of the world’s billionaire ranks with a total of $440 billion.
